Video Electronics Standards Association or VESA is an American technical standards organization for computer display standards. A VESA pattern is a standardized pattern of screw holes on the back of a flat-panel display (like a monitor or TV) that allows it to be easily attached to a compatible wall mount, desk stand, or other mounting bracket, ensuring compatibility across different brands and models of displays. VESA pattern can be used with wall mounts, desk mounts, ceiling mounts, and articulating arms. VESA mount is also known as Flat Display Mounting Interface (FDMI)

Where to find the VESA pattern in a display unit

A VESA pattern is an universally accepted standard for mounting flat-panel monitors and televisionsMost Computer monitors and TVs (LED or LCD panel) follow VESA standards. It is a four threaded holes found behind the panel and will be in either a square or rectangular configuration.
